The tileset being hand-drawen dosn’t make it any better. It contained no
shading, and there was no gradient for the textured BG. There was bad
masking in places too. The water looked good. I’d learn how to use
PaintShopPro if I were you. The idea of doing it with your hand was fairly
new, but it could’ve been carried out better. I may try doing a tileset with my
foot… THAT would be interesting.
this is no 7.7 tileset NAH
A BAD backround that grass is not verry good and good :D
the muic is fun great example lvl but that grass is bad the
the white (what is that) is great for make but you can make rain and more tiles its a small and little tileset
and what is the program paint ? or psp photoshop?? and you can make in your tilesets (jsc) “tileset and lvl by ….”
i can only give a 6.5 for what bad tiles and good
this tileset is cool. he has done a lot of work.
YYYAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s a TUTORIAL!:([This review has been edited by Piccolo]
This is nice made man!
Keep on making tilesets.
Here is a 7,7 for your work!!!
;)
Hmmm, this tileset is rather small
The tileset can use EYECANDY and textures
It is ok For your First
Just kinda Basic
[This review has been edited by Stilettø]
Weird. I seem to be the only foo here who doesn’t like those levels.
The levels (or level, it’s basically one level) are using serveral sets. Not all of them are used in a good way. There are some eyecandy glitches, altough there are also some original platforms moving around.
The design of the levels is confusing and the levels are kinda empty at some places. Another set-back is that you can only play this levels with Jazz. At least, Aiko says so. That’s very unfair since Spaz players find it hard to move around with Spaz and so fighting (and I actually think those levels are created for fighting ;) will be unfair. I also don’t like the chatroom, but that’s probably me.
So you can download this, but I don’t say you HAVE to. 6.0 for those levels with interesting but often annoying design.
Foos. You are all wrong. This should get 7.0 :)
This tileset consists of blue tiles. It has blocks, all kinds of slopes, cave stuff, some blue (duh) tinted background, and the “basic” stuff like vines etc. Clearly a tileset that you love or hate.
I can be short about this. The tileset is (almost) totally RIPPED. And the stuff you drew by yourself is mostly of bad quality. You can see it’s done in paint.
The tileset consists of ripped tiles (from Tavern, Psych and JJ1 sets), some statues of Jazz (screenshots) and some hand drawn tiles, done in paint and with text written on it. The text is almost unreadable and looks ugly.
So better use Hotel Dream, True rabbit hotel or The Tavern and don’t download this piece of ripping.
3,0 is enough for this, I think.
PS: If I violate the rule “don’t rate tilesets with 10 a 1”, sorry.[This review has been edited by Fl@$h aka BlewMeUp]
BunnyElmer is my friend. It’s only fair if I give him friendship.
Nice level.. Good use with the tiles and nice idea … Keep up the good work .
See ya
Naz
Okay, now I’m gunna individually review all the levels in Episode2 >:D
Level1: You can’t start on this level without playing the previous episode
first. And whatever you do, don’t touch the spring without freezing it. Thats the
meanest thing I’ve ever seen on a level that I didn’t make (anyone remember
my Access Violation Team Battle?). Then there’s 2 dragons that only appear
in hard mode. Thats the first difficulty level difference in the episode. After a
bunch of wandering, you fight the Queen Boss (King Butter?) and finally get
to go to the next level.
Level2: Exactly the same as the above level except you can only access
one coin (theres no coin warp) and a few gems.
Level3: Same as level1 of first episode. Some reason (maybe just my
sound card), Jazz’s voice got real high when I was fighting the bees. If you
still have some bouncers, you can finish. If not… well… you’ll be there a while.
I’m giving this 1.5, reminds me of those old computer games where you had
to start over if you forgot something at the beginning.
You had a good idea here, but the levels were way to short.
Also, if you use the Frostbiters you get in episode 1 before epidode 2, you
need to cheat to finish. I’ll be mean and review each level individually.
Level 1: This level starts out by saying something in another language. No
idea what it says. 4 bees and 3 gems later, the exit. I can tell you got the BG
right by modifying Epics level =P.
Level2: Another epic level modification. Somewhere in here you get 15
freezers, which you need to use sparingly.
Level3: Another epic level modification. Better still have those freezers, or
you’ll be there forever.
Overall, I’ll give it a 1.2, beacuse I liked how the boss had 2 turtles with him.
This, which is possibly the first level using the Raging Inferno tileset other then the example one by Disguise, doesn’t use the tileset too well.
Sure, the platforms have the tops, but the sides are messed up, ramps are messed up, bottoms are messed up. And there’s no layer 4 background to make it look better.
The design consists of a bunch of platforms which are a wee bit too big, with not enough springs.
There are two bases in the upper corners of the level, along with seeker powerups somewhere below each of them. There is no other ammo.
I don’t like it. But I had to get it, if only to get rid of the 1.0 average rating.
I do not agree whith Electric Ir,
there are lots of fun games… oke the Rollercoaster and the Speed track aren’t realy fun but still worth a download.[This review has been edited by _Jaws]
First of all, the tileset has got a nice idea, good eyecandy and some neat statues.
But it’s way too small. It doesn’t have those “stuff” that makes a tileset good.
Sure, it’s got spikes, vines, hooks, trigger things etc, etc and it’s based on a very original idea. (btw, it doesn’t matter if you fancy Skulg, Moonblaze, everyone does it these days ;-P) However, the tileset just…does…not…have…those little tiles with small messages saying “Hi!” or those cute little animations that makes you think “Oh, let’s rate this tileset a 10!”
The tileset’s also got ripped animations from Carrotus and censored, I think. Make yer own things nxt time.
Ok, since the idea and effort are so great and even though there’s almost nothing else in it, I don’t think I can give Land of Skulg a bad rating. Well, maybe a half bad, but not bad. Here’s a 7.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
EDIT: Hahah! (I think) I got the longest review.[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
This rulez man!
It knows the PING. Dunno how ya did it…
Hmm… can you please add MY NAME to the program? :)
Very good Tileset.
More spikes, more to use in the background layers, poles, vines, trig scen, dest scen, hook, txt sign, and a lot more.
This tileset is easy to use, but you can still make very high quality level’s of it.
all of these things make it to a good tileset. you can use a lot of different eyecandy, even without it looks wierd.
good work, Møøñßlãzé.
download recommend[This review has been edited by Snowball]
Well, nice tileset, again..
This time it has hooks, vines and more spikes. Also there is a Scary Sarry statue and a (grey jazz w/ knife) Moonblaze statue. You can now do more things with the stone things and there are several types of switches. Well done!
The tileset can use more EYECANDY and textures and more ‘must-needed’ things (destr. blocks, poles, perhaps suckers, text sign, arrows, etc.)
