Well, not really. You can get through the whole thing just as the bird, without any help. I guess the bird is the one who is supposed to be helping, but I still miss the point of calling it a Cooperative level.
I, choosing to do single player, only saw the bird path, so if the other one was much superior, oh well.
The obstacles all consist of enemies that you can barely/not really avoid, unless you managed to keep the bird escort you got at the beginning.
The tileset use is fine, though in some spots it looks bad, such as in the tree houses.
It’s a minute or two of kind of fun, if you like this sort of thing.
In response to Tublear:
Well, you may, but I have not too much trouble beating it in single player, in less then two minutes.[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
Well, this level consists of running through a level which the author probably tried to make seem more realistic then anything else.
Most of the obstacles consist of running along, then noticing you passed an entrance. Generally, though, you go in a straight line.
But there’s one obstacle where a flock of birds go up and down in unison, which is more spooky then anything else. They’re solid, but hard to crash into.
The eyecandy’s great, it seems the author can use his own tileset. (I’m pretty sure he made it)
I can’t say I enjoyed this level very much. There’s a point where realism stops being fun and starts being just boring.
Eyecandy: Well, it uses (probably) all the tileset has to offer, which is really very little. It doesn’t look good.
Design: You go into a building, and go to one of four little rooms with nothing to do except look at the various monsters (which could look better easily) shoot lasers at eachother.
Gameplay: Very low. There’s nothing to do at all. (It’s supposed to be a battle, but Battles aren’t supposed to have hurt events, and it’s not built like a battle either..)
Weapons Placement: Also very low. There’s a few bits of ammo here and there, but that’s all.
Hahahaha!!! What a doofus! Looks Xtremely Hilarious!!! What’s with the black face? Pycho?

I got the first post and download!.
Rating will wait for later…
EDIT:This was a major disappointment. I may be a pokemon fan, but I know a crappy level when I see it.[This review has been edited by BlackRabite]
The levels are to large and ugly cornflake tileset but cool music
It´s been a while since I last rated something, but hell…here goes.
First glance… Horrible! Heh, but that cleared up when I had a look at the example level, the overall look is good, there are enough tiles for the basics, though there is still plenty of room for expansion in some ways.
The tileset doesn´t look at all alien though, so I wonder where the name came from, suppose you had your reasons for that.
The background scenery is acceptable and there is some eyecandy, though the tileset needs a little more of that.
There are clear descriptions of what the tiles are meant for too, in case someone new wants to make a level.
The masking is very good, nothing to complain about there.
I give this a 7.7~with room for an 8 if you update and add some tiles.
What’s this? Ah, it’s a tileset made by a hater of me! ;P joke! The ground is OK(Why you made it twice?), Background is an ugly crap! Only a black tile with white dots(Yea, white dots are stars, or are they?). There’s two types of the stars. Little bigger than the dots and small dots. YAY, POLE! AND V-POLE! At last a tileset with V-pole! The swamps are for layer 6 or 7, I think.
By the way, what’s that green and yellow rings?
Caves! They look good. bad that there’s not holes/some things like in Carrotus tileset. You can do WOOD with this. There’s a tree here too…
Nothing else to say… Good one
This is Good.

I’m at the low-rating part ;)
It could be me, but as far as I know Hunter and Thing are friends of Flea. I’m not sure but this could say soemthing about the rating. If it doesn’t, blame me :P
Okay, my review. I can be short: The level isn’t good. It’s WAY too empty. Much empty parts. That isn’t always a bad point, but the level needs to be big to make emptyness an advantage. And this level isn’t big.
The level is completely Jazz-unfriendly, and even with Spaz it’s soemtimes hard to move around. The gargoyles at the background aren’t that bad, I didn’t really like them anyway. It would be better when you let them move.
The ammo placement is one of the few good points of the level. Not too much, and there are enough powerups, luckily you didn’t include them all.
There are only red springs, and maybe one or two green/blue ones. That’s the “killer” of this level. It makes the level VERY ard to navigate trough.
Overall I don’t like this one. Maybe try again with a level :P
Grab the 5.0 if you want it. Only downloadrecommendation for levelcollectors.
I didn’t know that, sorry. How is it called? Where can one get it.
I made it because it didn’t like that weap and i heard others complainig about it too.
If one would like me to submit a (new working) patch, feel free to ask.
BTW:I now found a way how to patch all kind of Jazz versions.
Overlord already made a program for this, wich works for both 1.23 and TSF :P
COool idea .. [This review has been edited by mirrow]
Nope, it don’t work. I have 1.24 installed but the error: “This progam cannot update the installed version of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 because of the following reason: C:/Games/Jazz2/Jazz2.exe: unknown version”, comes everytime :| I have really the real 1.24. Upload it.

The name of the the progam is Weapon, made by OverLord. Look geocities.com/atlastsome/jj2/downlink.htm[This review has been edited by Taz]
Sounds interesting. Make one for 1.23 and I’ll try and rate it :)
