Ok. Fairly good level, but a bit to plain. You should add variety and make the bases more spread apart. Though you can’t do too much with the tileset due to its size, its fairly good. Weapons should be more spread out, but the fire theme is very good in this level.

This is not a good treasure lvl. It’s got no background, no weapons, no eyecandy and a whole bunch of blue gems all over the place. Some tiles are also misplaced and everything looks quite bad.

I doubt that you spent a long time on this lvl, Voldard. I could do it in 30 seconds.

It’s not worth downloading this…

It won’t work in XP because XP has hack prevention. In other words, like defalcon said, it doesnt allow memory address editing.
It probably doesn’t work in your ME because you have your hardrive file system as NTSF. If it were FAT32 you would be able to run this program and other memory editing programs.

Ah. Very interesting. A new version of Ninja Dodo’s famous (or maybe not so famous) “Lost World: The Fall” CTF level. Lets get started.

First of all, i want to comment about the tileset. AwEsOmE! “The lost World” by Ninja Dodo and Jaws must be one of the best tilesets out there. The tileset was used very, very well in the level. Eyecandy was done mostly in the style of the levels from Ninja Dodo’s “The Lost Wolrd” Single Player pack, thus making the level look great. The level was made to resemble a large waterfall, with bases at the bottem and at the top. It looks very good, the waterfall, with platforms you can use to get to the top, and a bit claustrofobic cave like passages at the sides filled with ammo. At the top of the waterfall, there is a treehouse, ment as chatroom, and a big dinosaur. Eyecandy is really a strong factor in this level, i must say.

Item placement is well… how can i call it… decent. It is’nt as good as it might have been, but still pretty good indeed. There where no powerups in the level, or at least none i could find. General ammo was placed well. Most , or all of it was located in the narrow passages at the sides of the waterfall, wich i mentoined before. It was well devided, and well placed. Carrots where also spread good around the level.

Gameplay was pretty good. It takes more time to get to the blue base at the top, then too the red base at the bottem, but thats not a problem at all, because both teams have to get to both bases, one to capture and one to score. For the rest gameplay was fine. Good and fluent, with only a few dead ends.

I must say that i recomend to download “Lost world, the fall” to every CTF fan out there. Its a 7.5.

The reason it doesn’t work on XP is because XP doesn’t allow memory address editing (I think). It should work fine on ME.[This review has been edited by defalcon]

Woah! Great german-dutch co-production in this pack. (where the german part, the tileset, is the best, of course ;-).
“Death Metal” has 320 beautiful tiles for you and your JCS and just looks great. It has a whole lot of useful stuff like spikes, vines, poles diagonals and erm…bones. Many bones. And metal. And some bubble blood bath. Not to forget a few background structures like a dark sky with stars, a half moon or those mountains. All in all, very cool (yes, also the masking with your witty message and so on :-).
Cell’s example battle level is 80*80 tiles large and looks very good, too. It has lots of platforms, navigation is fluent and there is some really sweet eyecandy. Horribly playable, i’d say (not to mention the long and a bit too large “Almagest” music tune by canadian tracker Stefan Xenos, which isn’t bad either).
Oh and Blade, old dude, it’s more like “Skulg *WO*man” ;-) German style, mehr davon, Skulg!! Acht fette Punkte für dich (<— describes my high rating of…eight points! w00p!). “Death Metal” and the whole pack is a MUST DOWNLOAD for everyone, of course.[This review has been edited by Aiko]

Oh, there is not much to say about “Battle Out V”. Diamondus is overused, the design is pretty good (many platforms and very open, as Violet already tried to say) and there is a fair amount of layer work. It is not too large so it will make a good and fun battleground for servers with five or less players.
The music is by a german tracker and yeah, it’s nice. Still, not favourite track and nothing very outstanding. Like the whole level. I’m not even exactly sure if we still need more and more of this type of level. Sorry.
Nevertheless, “Battle Out V” definitely gets a DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION from me. It is a pretty good level.

P.S.: The next level setting is missing/wrong. Not good. Here’s my 6.5 for that (und the fact you used Diamondus because you were “lazy” :-)…

I won’t say that Agama could post a pic of a rock and get a 10, because Agama has real talent. This tileset continues the long string of great tilesets from this legend. In my little blog (for those of you who don’t know what blogs are-be glad you don’t and your life is worth living) I believe Agama’s tilesets are the best of all time.
