Not changing my rating by some cheap changes of effects.
Yay! I’m the first one to review this lvl!
Well…umm…umm…Defence of the Paradise is a very good and well made lvl. It does use the overused Carrottus tileset but that doesn’t matter too much cause I like the tileset. The lvl’s got good but confusing eyecandy and has got a little too much ammo. Also, I REALLY, REALLY don’t like the idea of having a lvl without seekers. Even nonpowered up ones are good. The gameplay is OK too, and there aren’t much obstacles around. However, there is an dead end on pos 79, 17 which I fixed but it seems to me that Unhit deleted my one way events. :-(
Since it looks like my review isn’t very detailed the review will now be divided into sections…ahhh…sections…
WEAPONS PLACEMENT
There aren’t any seekers. – points. The ammo is well placed and is scattered neatly all over the lvl. + points. Too much ammo. – points. Is this simple enough for you idiots out there? :-P
EYECANDY
Good eyecandy here, Defence of the Paradise uses almost everything the Carrottus tileset offers, there are pumpkins, carrots, vines, spikes, nice smiling flowers and much, much more. What I will give an BIG + for is that Unhit and Songoku didn’t use those red, giant carrots cause they are ANNOYING. But! The eyecandy is sometimes too extreme and can be quite confusing. Also, I noticed that, on the blue base, a vine is blocking Eva’s face!
GAMEPLAY
Good gameplay here. There’s not much to say really. The platforms are well made and the game can go on really fluentlty. However, there are some bad placed springs which makes you bounce up when you want to fall down. I noticed it in a CTF game. Very annoying!
IS THIS LVL FUN?

CONCLUSION
A very good lvl here by Unhit and Songoku and just because it uses the Carrottus tileset doesn’t mean that it isn’t good. I’ll give Defence of the Paradise (btw, the name is stupid) an 8.5. Download this NOW.

Great game just wonderful now lets get to the point.
Well, I guess I just read the # wrong, but the bonus level is basically level 2 in holiday hare mode.
anyways, a wonderful game, extremeley fun. However, I only had this game for 1 day. THIS GAME IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF A SEQUEL!!!
since everyone’s already said everything good and bad about this, it’s just a great game.
But a few suggestions for the sequel:
more levels (preferably around 10-20
an original bonus level(maybe even a bonus campaign!)
Different graphics(Jass in a pile of snow on top of the water looks a little strange)
Spaz(and Lori)
powerups(speed, invincibility, etc.)
the snowboard
better masks(you can miss a rock by a few pixels and it will say you crashed, especially annoying where you need to get the coin between the two rocks)
Better control(in Jazz mode, because it is kinda hard to jump and get into roll mode)>[review This as a ten]

Boring. To much food, to dark, this adds nothing new. Besdides the fact that new J2O users rate incredibly high.

When I first saw this, it appeared to be a small room, with one platform, and no ammo. There was a small hole in the floor that you can’t do anything in, and is covered in layer 3.
Thankfully, or maybe not, just as I was about to Alt+F4, I noticed that the door was a warp. The entire level is a bunch of warps that lead to eachother. The tileset use is…. ok.
The design is poor. The weapons placement is poor. The gameplay is poor. More of a maze then anything else.
Last note. This is a 1.24 level.
This level has four smallish rooms, all connected by a closed circuit warp system. (First bug: One of the warps is very hard to get away from)
The tileset use and eyecandy are good.. no problems there. (Second bug: There’s a little gate like thing that has incomplete Layer 3)
I personally don’t like the design all that much.. but it’s ok.

But like always, everything can be better…

This is a good level, but it is way from what the Cell levels are used to be.
And it’s way from a 10.
When I was running around my way was getting blocked all time by those irritating heads, like Inf. Spaz said, the movement to the bases is unfair, and the music, well that’s not so good after all.
Ok I’ll say I actually hate this tileset (sorry). And it’s irritating.

Bjarni, the dungeons mean the part of the level you are in. If you havent noticed yet, the 4 dungeons are closed, and you can enter the next one by going into a warp.
Hmm… an average ctf level. Good eyecandy, good weoping placement. Cool fruites? Cool ship? All weapons? those are not a real plus.
Some funny dutch guy is reviewing like he’s me. I will compensate for this by giving a rating of 10.

A 10/10? Hardly, but it isn’t a bad level. Sense Bjarni Cool here listed all the good points, I’ll list some faults.
First off: Base placement. T blue base is lower then the reds, allowing the reds a quicker route to the blue’s base. Second: The flame powerup is useless because of all the floating obsticles. Third: You chould have done more with the bottom of the level. A secret hiding place maybe. But those are juat minor flaws, still this is a good level, but It has way too many ramps and heads to block your escape.
