    * Tilesets
Let me make this clear: None of these are mine! I have not created or
in any way helped
make ANY of these! I can't make very good tilesets or music, and I
know it, so I used other
peoples. Thank you to all the talented artists!

So here they are! Note that these tilesets are floating around in
lots of places on J2O.
These URLs are just where I found them, and are not necessarily the
original or best
places to get them. Also, the URLs were correct at the time of the
upload, January 2008.
They are subject to change and may not work later on.

        =Credits.j2t
 I found it on
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=3685
It is within EvilMike's "The Invasion of Deserto." It is made by Disguise.

        =MegaM123.j2t and MegaM123N.j2t
 I found it here:
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=2806
It is a quite nice tileset by Disguise, although there is not much for
eyecandy.
He made a very good TSF version, I have heard, but since I don't have TSF
I can't say.

        =Heaven.j2t
 You can get it from
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=473
It's a gorgeous tileset from the very talented Agama. Check out her other
ones, too!

        =Desert.j2t and Top3.j2t
 I got them here:
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=3855
They are included on the seperate link with the music and tilesets in
EvilMike's
second levelpack: The Rebirth of Evil.
Blade made the Desert one, and Overlord made Top Secret 3. Both look quite
simple, but
you can do incredibly complex things with them, if you take enough time.

    * The music files!

=jttcoc00.mod(Accompanies level 9)
=M04.MOD (For your listening pleasure is in levels 8 and 11)
=FlyingIndian.S3m (Appears in level 6)
=HGH-WILL.XM (Played in level 10)
=EMPTY4ST.XM

  rba-psys.xm, Haunted.it, EMPTY4ST.XM, and organic.xm are NOT included.
That is because
music is just too darn big and I had to cut it down from 3.7 MB to 2.
Look before you
get them, though; they are all fairly common and you probably have them
already.

Rba-psys.xm -
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=1040 in
 EvilMike's CTF level Glowing Poison.
Haunted.it - Lots of places. I think the original was
 http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=3118 in
Pyromanius'
 tileset conversion.
Organic.xm - Here
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=3984 within
 Blade's tileset "The Twilight Park."
EMPTY4ST.XM - Sorry; I could not find a small pack that had this in, but
Another Story
is an excellent classic that every JJ2 fan should have.
 http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=12 here, in
Another Story

    * And this Readme. Thanks for taking the time to read it, Bro.

-Options-
You can play as both Jazz or Spaz, and the ending levels will be slightly
different, although
the story is the same. It is easier to play with Jazz because of his
helicopter ears, uppercut
and how the levels are set up. Whichever character you choose becomes the
older brother.

-Story-
Jazz and Spaz are brothers, living alone in the Western Suburb of a rather
large rabbit city.
They get along for the most part, although the older brother hates how he
feels obligated to
baby-sit his younger sibling. But soon, something happens that will change
their lives forever...

Please take time to read the text strings. They tell the story, and without
them you won't know
what is going on. I took to time to write them so you should take the time
to read them!

-Glitches-
It is known that whenever you get hurt close to a ceiling, or floor, you
sometimes get 'stuck'
in the wall with no way to get out. That may happen to you if you try to
jump over rolling
boulders in level six. I think I found all of them and put warps there,
thus getting you safely
out, but one or two places could have slipped under the radar. So if you
find yourself in that
predicament, here is how to get yourself out, if you don't already know.
Oh, and This is the
ONLY time you are allowed to cheat. EVER. Type 'jjfly', and your character
will get permanent
helicopter ears. Then press the directional button oppisite of the way you
want to go while
jumping. (Like if you're stuck in the ceiling, press up and hold the jump
key.) You will
eventually make your way out. Then type jjfly twice more to turn it off.

-History of O Brother aka My Life Story-
This is not vital to the game at all. You don't have to read it. I only put
it here because,
heck, I like to write things. You may find it amusing. Note that this was
written in January '08.

I began messing around with Jazz Creation Station around 2000. My very
first level consisted
of the Castle tileset, and was built completely in level four. It took me
forever to figure out
that you needed to put an "event" down to make the spikes hurt you! You
could run through the
entire thing - it was just a straight line. There were no pickups, and my
greatest accomplishment
was when I put in a working text string and a generating hoverboard.
Not too bad for a ten-year-old.

Over time, I never forgot about good ole' JCS. As I got older, I began to
teach myself how
destructing scenery, warps, and background layers worked. The idea for a
brand-new story that I
was going to make came to me in 2004-ish. I tried to make one where you
were captured and had to
break out of prison, but the Castle tileset didn't provide for a very good
jail. And, once you
got out... then what? Jazz went through the jungle, Diamondous, and
Colonius to finally make it
back home to Carrotus. But it just didn't seem right. The levels weren't
spectacular, and they
were very linear. I wondered what I should do, and then: I found
Jazz2Online.

Tilesets! Music! Levels! All beyond my wildest dreams! So I did what anyone
would do:
I downloaded. Which is a real pain on dial-up. I was never into
multiplayer, so I searched for
single player levels. Put it in descending order, sort by average rating,
then nab the best ones.
So what to my wondering eyes should appear but The Rebirth of Evil! I
downloaded that one, and
then the other two: The Battle For Carrotus and The Invasion of Deserto. I
played them in awe.
I had no idea how EvilMike did some of his "tricks." If you haven't
already: play the first level
of The Invasion of Deserto. Type in jjcoins, and go to the bonus room. Do
it. Now. I did, and at
first I stared at the screen, unbelieving, then burst out laughing for a
full five minutes. I
still don't know how he did it. After I finished the game, I opened it on
JCS to find out just
how these miracles were performed. It took me a very, very long time, but I
did it. Now I could
make lasers that moved(!) and hurt you, too. I used his "Do not use" events
to make my own
trigger scenery, and later found out from Violet that they were, in fact,
called trigger Zones!
EvilMike indirectly showed me tricks with JJ2 that I never knew existed,
and it opened up a
whole new era of levelmaking. Well, for me, at least. I do not in any way
want this to be a rip
off of his great levelpacks. I have used many of 'his' tilesets, and that
is simply because those
were the only ones I had, at the beginning. I got many of my ideas from
him, but let me make it
clear that I did not, in any way, copy him. Whew, now that that's done
with, where was I? Yeah...

I had downloaded many of the higher-rated tilesets, plus the ones I had
from EvilMike's many
packs, and from those O Brother began to take shape. I based the story off
of the tilesets,
really. I wondered how I could tie in everything I had. I always knew that
Mega Megatropolis
would be Jazz and Spaz's hometown, and it went from there. I started in
early 2006. Yeah, it took
me two years to make eleven levels. Not a good track record. But there were
months at a time
where I didn't work on it because too many things got in the way, or a had
some type of level
designers block. But once in a while a new idea would strike me, and
layouts for the new level
could be found all over my chemistry homework. I happily joined the forums,
got some beta-testers
(Thanks Voilet, and the rest of y'all) and, well, here we are. I hope you
like the end result.

So, go have fun! Play my levels!
And then go write a review!

Thank you, and happy Jazzing (or Spazzing)
