Jazz Jackrabbit Quiz! | PT32 | Other | N/A |
ANSWERS """"""""""""""" DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED ALL THE QUESTIONS ON THE QUIZ!!!!!!!!!!!! 1: b- Devan Shell is the evil turtle seeking to cause misery and grief for all rabbitkind. 2: d- Yes, there were 13 different types of weapons. Blaster, Bouncer, Frostbiters, Seekers, Really Fast (RF) Missles, Toasters, TnT, Pepper spray, and Electro-Blasters. There are also four different shields (one is a cheat), each with a unique weapon replacing your blaster for the duration of the shield. Fire, water, plasma, and laser. BONUS 1: There were 5. Blaster, Bouncer, RF Missles, Toasters, and TnT. 3: b- The normal turtle has been used in 20+ levels. Not kidding! 4: a- Diamondus, Tubelectric and Medivo were used in the episode "Flashback", and Holidaius was in the first Holiday Hare expansion. 5: d- There were six episodes in Jazz1. Three more were in the "Jazz CD" expansion, and one each was in Jazz1 "Holiday Hare" and "Holiday Hare '95". Jazz2 had one episode in the "Holiday Hare '98" expansion, one episode in "The Secret Files (TSF)" expansion and four in the main game. Counting the "Homecooked Levels" and the shareware demo (errmm, that's marginal), the grand total is 19. 6: c- Marinated Rabbit is one of only two levels in all the Jazz2 stages that uses water, and is the only one to use the Water song. 7: a- Snow Bunnies, Dashing Thru the Snow and Tinsel Town were the three levels in the "Holiday Hare '98" expansion and all used the Whare soundtrack. 8: d- phew, this was a very tough one to add up! The final total is 62, but I could easily be off by one or two, so don't flip out if you missed it. It was a hard one. 9: b- This is also a hard one, and I read it off a Did You Know on Jazz2Online, because I did NOT feel like spending a fortune in time tracking down every single little 1up. So I hope that 45 is indeed the correct answer. 10: a- I'm sorry, but none of those are correct. 11: c- Carrotus Castle is where the fun begins, and Dam nation is where it ends. This, of course does not count any of the expansions. 12: a- Aha, I betcha some people missed that one. Michael's Arcade is an incorrect seplling of "Michiel's Arcade", which is, in fact, a real venue in the Townhouse tileset. 13: b- The Jazz2 baddie is Rapier, not GHOST!! 14: d- Turtleshells will stop moving when they hit an invisible gem stomp, but they will not reveal them. 15: b- These are the four main episodes in Jazz2. 16: d- There are four secret levels in Jazz2, but only one can actually be found in the game, as the others were at various stages of completion. One contained only the eyecandy! BONUS 2: Far Out, SECRET LEVEL, Voltage Village, and Gargoyle's Lair. 17: .b- Jazz, Spaz, Eva, Devan, the Queen, and Lori 18: a- Return to Birdland is the only bonus level in the game. It's also the only level where you play as the bird. 19: d- The morph frames in order are: Jazz, Spaz, Lori, Bird, Frog. 20: c- There are three demos. The Jazz1 demo, which consists of the first episode, the Jazz2 demo, which contains Darn Ratz, Retro Rabbit and Frog Stomp, and the Jazz3 demo (which was never released to the public, so don't expect to find it on the web.) (BTW, a company called Ambesoft MAY be able to make Jazz3 after all, so don't lose hope of ever playing the third game, and go support Ambesoft right now! 21: b- It took me about an hour and a half to beat the four main episodes, but that's just my time. 22: d- Yes, there are 1-2-7 types of baddies in Jazz2+1! WOW!!!! 23: c- Man, all these difficult questions! There are 46 different places, some are fun and some are... Next answer, please. 24: c- I know, that really isn't fair, but hey! I warned ya it'd be hard!! 25: a- Seriously! I don't know! Drop me a line if you do, and I'll add it as an answer (and maybe even credit you... :P) 26: c- There are 36 different levels total in Jazz2 and its expansions. 27: d- There are about 5189 gems in ALL of Jazz2! If you really did that without looking it up, I'll pay you $10. But since I know it's not humanly possible to guess right without looking it up, that was just a joke. It took me four days to look all of them up, because I'd forget to add the total from the end of level to the other gems. And get this: In the expansions (TSF, HH'98) and Dungeon Dilemma alone, there are OVER 3000 GEMS!!!!!!!!! BONUS 3: Burnin' Biscuits has 54 gems in it. 28: c- A turtleshell will destroy another shell in 2-3 hits, not one. All the others are true. [for "a", go look at the Jazz1 Deserto conversion.] 29: a- Counting the blank pages [and NOT the coversheets!], there are 56 pages in the manual. 57, if you're including my list of cheats tucked between pages __&__. Oops, that's classified info. :) 30: d- Again, his name is CarlO, not CarlOS! 31: a- There are 20 paragraphs in the readme. Seems like it should be longer! 32: b- I know of no "new expansion" underway for Jazz2, although I don't know all there is to know [shocking, isn't it?] 33: c- City1g [Streetwize] is an IMPULSE TRACKER MODULE!!!!! NOT A .J2B FILE!!!!!!! GAAAAH!!!!!! 34: d- Jon was the Webmaster, and also helped with additional LEVEL design. 35: d- The lizard does say "A-doo-ba-doo-da...", but it's not an actual line! It's just his musical ramblings... 36: c- The model uses [if I count correctly] eight colors. BONUS 4: Red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, pink, and orange. 37: a- If anybody bothered to read the Jazz1 manual, then the sayer of the line was Nick Stadler. 38: d- Arjan's a naughty boy. He drinks :( Just kidding, about the naughty boy part. If Arj is reading this, no offense meant in any way. :) 39: d- Robert A. Allen saidthis. Sorry! 40: c- There are 677 words in ALL the out-of-game menus! WOW! If you guessed that correctly, you're a genius! X0
