--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ ORBITUS --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ It is an elaborate structure of pipes, anti-gravity floors and bounce walls. Jazz will bounce around most of the time he's viting Orbitus. ~JJ1 Manual. History: BlurredD was the winner of the science fair, a competition organized by URJazz and myself to draw out new JJ2 tricks and things. He won with a way to create the JAIL2 system without using any triggers, just warps. The prize... a JJ1 conversion. Namingly this one. Orbitus. Usage notes: There are three different kinds of bounce floors. Not two. The bottom tiles of the pole stumps go in layer 3, over the floor. Jung Pole: X -12, Y 31, one tile above the top tile of the stump. Diamondus Pole: X 17, Y -14, one tile above the top tile of the stump. Palette: Pinball: All works. Snow: Works. Poles: Work, but they look weird. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ LAGUNICUS --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ ~JJ1 Manual. History: This one, I just wanted to convert. Lagunicus had always been a cool planet, and yet none of the partial conversions included in various Exoticus conversions included one crucial tile - namingly the inside of platforms. Astronia made a battle level using one of those "conversions", doing a very good job of demonstrating this problem. I felt obligated to fix this. Usage notes: Be careful with the blank tiles. A lot of them have invisible masks. See the example level. Hey, just see the example level period. It shows pretty much everything. Jung Pole: X -12, Y 31, one tile above the top tile of the stump. Palette: Pinball: All works. Snow: Kind of works. (Light brown) Poles: Work except for Psych pole, but some things look weird (the small tree is brown leaves on top of green trunk...). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ MEGAIRBASE --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Oh no! Devan has built an airbase! Jazz might have a chance at destroying the two areas if he avoids the tanks, missiles, and super sparks! ~JJ1 Manual. History: I was never satisfied with Ice Wolf's conversion of this planet, because so many of the tiles in it were poorly made fakes. Particularly the slopes and the purple .25 blocks. Anyway, this has significantly more than his did, so I'm relatively pleased with it. Lab says it's "fun to build with" and "sexy". Usage notes: You can use the open-top Devan tank if you put a spring event in the middle. None of the poles are supported (no stump tiles). If you can't figure out the textured background, take it from the example level. Palette: Pinball: All work. Snow: Green. Poles: Work except for Psych pole. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ CREDITS --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Violet CLM: Converted the tilesets. LAbRaTkiD: Made the example levels. BlurredD and N0B0DY: Supposedly beta tested. (Never heard anything from them) Nick Stadler, CliffyB, or one of those people: Made the original tilesets. Ice M A N and crew: Made JCS94.
