Nimrod reports that someone at Epic has fixed list.jazzjackrabbit.com so it again works as a Jazz Jackrabbit 2 list server. This means those with vanilla JJ2 will be able to view the server list and join games again. Yay!

Well done!

doesn’t change much however because all of our servers require jj2+ now anyways XD

Logface202: The thing is, though, now people with unpatched JJ2 can see that servers do exist, giving them reason to seek out JJ2+ and download it. Before today, people would have had every reason to assume there were no servers, so they’d be more likely to give up on the game.

Indeed, and there’s occasionally a public vanilla like ‘The Server’ online to let people at least try the game online.
