With leaving of Arjan Brussee from BossKey Productions to Epic Games last year and failing of their main game LawBreakers. We already saw dark clouds hanging above the development studio.
Today Cliff “CliffyB” Bleszinski announced on Twitter that the doors of Boss Key will be shut down for good and Cliffy retiring (for now) from the games industry to reflect on his life and focus on family matters.
We of Jazz2online wish godspeed to Cliffy and hope on a quick recovery back to game designing.

Well I thought his brand new game company or rather game studio speaking of Clifford Bleszinski will be alive for 20 years since 2012-2032 or maybe even longer.

Well, considering Epic Games was basically handing out jobs to members of his team, they kind of saw it coming too. I guess that means employees can find a new job at least. After all, LawBreakers was pretty polished audiovisually and the talent was there. I played it every now and then for about 30 hours, since the 2nd Alpha. Shared my thoughts with them, and bought the game.
I wish the best to Cliff and his team, and maybe some family goodtimes will bring out the indie developer in him, making for a floppy-eared revival (sorry had to bring it up, lol).

I think Cliff Bleszinski and Epic Games should make video documentary 4 years ago about 20th Jazz Jackrabbit birthday anniversary including old crew/team of Jazz Jackrabbit 1 developers history interview just like Sega did 7 years ago when they were making Sonic Generations development.Well they can make second video documentary just like first one Forerunners History of classic pc games 2d platform sidescrollers, but this time only related to Jazz Jackrabbit as this second and last one video.Maybe Epic Games will make such a video in 30th Jazz Jackrabbit birthday anniversary so that’s the way I see as a possible chance to revive Jazz Jackrabbit at least third installment or jazz jackrabbit 1 reboot/remake more close to original one.

I hope Cliff Bleszinski will come back to Epic Games if he wants.Because back then he was very famous and more people showed him respect than now. Thanks to Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney he’s still popular and recognizeable.

luke11685 on 7 Aug 2018 at 21:52
Were you JellyJam talking about me?If that’s so I’m not big enthusiast of modern Epic Games it’s because I’m sceptic.I think I am alergic to their indie games trailers.

Sorry JellyJam I misunderstood you.You were talking about Cliff Bleszinski not me.Sorry for causing misinformation.
