Our #1 JJ1 fan, Newspaz, announces his new work in progress: an editor for JJ1 content. Unlike JCS ’94, which had the ability to modify only JJ1 levels, this tool appears to be quite a whopper:
Features worth mentioning:
- Animation sequence editor (no sprite editing)
- Special behavior editor (bees, and other enemies)
- Event editor with sprite preview
- Attack editor (change ammo sprites and shot speeds)
- Sound editor (change sound names and pitch)

I will not only test, but I will also build an example level using your editor.
If that’s okay.

Correction: Newspaz is our #2 JJ1 fan.

Who made that decision?
Slaz on 30 Nov 2008 at 16:22
Nobody can.. Though for me, Newspaz remains the #1 Jazz1 fan because there’s basically nobody else in this community who respects the original game that much.. :D :p

“Who made the decision?”
Yours truly.

You call him the #1 because I haven’t been around long enough to become noted enough to be #1. Now, if he really IS #1, I do respectfully and humbly apologize.

This is a ridiculous argument.

No, I am the #1 JJ2 fan. Prove me wrong.
[anonymous] on 1 Dec 2008 at 12:44
Actually, make this the #1 fan of any JJ game.

Violet is right. We don’t need to argue about such a useless point. I will concede to Newspaz, if only to halt this battle.
Don’t shoot, don’t shoot!
