Short reminder about music uploads

If you upload music, it may only be Jazz-related, or for use with a large levelpack you upload. No original songs.

This includes uploading JJ2’s tracks to J2O under a changed format (wtf?). If you made a track usable within JJ2, please get yourself a ModArchive or scene.org account and put them there. Thanks.

I agree, it was especially annoying seeing music already on JJ2 being uploaded here in MP3 format.
Seriously though, it’s pointless since Modplug can convert to MP3, as far as I know. And why do that unless you want to listen to JJ2 on your iPod or something?

How come uploads that are just original JJ2 files that have had nothing or one thing changed about them are suddenly becoming common?? There are/were about 6 or 7 recent uploads like this, where the “auther” took a JJ2 music file OR level, edited it slightly (whether it’s changing the format)and then uploaded it onto the site.

I agree. This IS wierd.
I think it’s because the creative people don’t make new stuff nearly oft enough.
Not to offend the people currently uploading…
