why aren’t any of bjarni’s tilesets, or JJTublear’s tests in the Notable Level Packs section?
EvilMike on 4 Jun 2009 at 03:13
I would ask why there are tilesets at all. It’s not like someone is going to stumble upon that page and go “ooooooooh tilesets”. They want something they can actually play. A level USING those tilesets would be way more useful.

No utilities or any of Evilmike’s episodes mentioned either…tut tut…

Incest? WTF? lolwut?
Ninja Dodo on 4 Jun 2009 at 19:18
@Lark: Because no-one has added them.
I created the Notable section based on things I have tried and enjoyed. They are my personal picks and in no way an objective cross-section of all things ever submitted. It’s been a long time since I actively played Jazz so I have no doubt missed many recent examples that have had equal if not greater impact.
Nothing stopping anyone else from registering and expanding the list.
You could argue against including tilesets but there’s no reason to assume there wouldn’t be potential level-makers visiting the site and I think Agama’s work in particular is worthy of mention.

I probably came across as too harsh, it’s a good article (I was one of the people who voted for the rabbitjournal entry) ;P
It’s just that one section that needs expansion I think. I’d do it myself but I’m probably a bit biased or at least overly opinionated when it comes to jj2 levels.
Ninja Dodo on 5 Jun 2009 at 14:09
The site is still young so much of its articles are not yet very detailed. So far there don’t seem to be many Jazz fans on there, so obviously my intention with that Rabbit Journal post was to change that…
Wikis after all are built collectively and if anyone knows about Jazz, it’s the J2O community.

So JJ2+ is not a ‘Notable Mod’?
Well, I’d say… ADD IT NOW!!
Really, who wrote that stuff? How could s/he forget?
Ninja Dodo on 14 Jun 2009 at 21:37
I notice for all the criticism on the current selection, no one has bothered to register and actually ADD to the list…
Your loss.
