This month’s featured download goes to the close of EvilMike’s long awaited single player adventure; Episode 5 is now available from J2O! This pack consists of probably the hardest but most entertaining levels that can be found on any game of this genre, and trounces any previous single player epic by a landslide. Furthermore, the screenshots here aren’t even a clear representation of how exhillerating the pack itself actually is, I guess you just have to play it and see.
This is definately a download for the books. Download it now if you have not done so already (and then play it immediately afterwards).
A sub-mention goes to Gus with his newest tileset: Casualty Mines. This tileset boasts great artistic style and is definately different to anything seen on J2O. Take a look.
And finally, J2O now has 5555 uploads. Keep uploading and have fun =)

Eat your lima beans, Johnny.
I guess you can compare the difficulty of this episode even to Jazz Unleashed. It’s pretty close to that, in hard mode at least.
Would be cool to also link to Casualty Mines, instead of to your own upload (second screenshot)
Good thing J2O has a search engine!
I support linking to gus’ tileset, even adding a screenshot. It’s the best tileset uploaded in quite a while and deserves the attention. Maybe two featured downloads for the month is warranted?
Also I think jazz unleashed is way harder… I can’t even beat that on easy mode, and neither can blurredd. :P The problem with that pack is the 5th level: it is more or less impossible, and has some very unfair parts where you have to use crazy button-mashing to succeed, or superhuman timing.
I can actually beat my episode on hard, though the fortress of floods is pretty insane. But it feels so good when you finally make it past it, like you actually accomplished something. To most people it will just lead to pulling out hair though.
I can’t even get past the first level without wanting to slit my wrists after dying 4 million times. :[
And this newspost has 5 comments! …oh darn.
Now I just remember that I once said on the JCF, that after this final episode was released, I’d play all 5 of them on the hard level without cheating.. Well guess I’ve got some work to do now..
Actually, in this episode I can easily beat up levels 1 and 2 on easy, but I get puzzled and troubled in the part of ‘[the] cavebird [who] prefers staying indoors’. I’m not a good player.
Also, I humbly thank everyone for the comments and the sub mention of my tileset.
It’s not much of a puzzle. When you are a bird, stay indoors. That means don’t leave the cave. If you go on any tile that is out in the open, you’ll transform back.
The Fortress of Ruin has nothing on Jazz Unleashed with regards to difficulty. Nothing even comes close to the insanity of the later parts of Astroid City (remember, it’s misspelled).
I’d consider The Fortress of Floods to be comparable to Flames of Fury with regards to difficulty. (Although admittedly neither are that difficult, except for the last part of TFoF on non-Easy.)
this is a WICKEDLY AWESOME LVL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, I didn’t mean about that. I mean that bats kill me too quickly. I have too little health. THAT puzzles me.
I think the devres70 was the hardest level. I mean the poison level. I haven’t even beaten it yet :D
