Disguise has started up a tileset making contest. The rules are pretty strict, so this isn’t just another “make a good tileset” contest. Go read the post for details.
Also, we now have an official IRC channel for JCS related discussions. The channel is #jcstalk and the server is irc.quakenet.org (port 6667). Go join it or something.
When looking at EBgames.com it now says that Jazz GBA will be shipped on 12/17/02, not today. I’ve looked on other game websites and I haven’t found any information to say that Jazz was really released anywhere today, so unless there is information to say it was really released today, I’d guess that it will really be available a little later.
Update:
I’ve recieved a note from the publisher confirming the fact that the released date has been pushed back to 12/17/02.
Not a great sign for the game to be released so close to Christmas.
First off, Jazz is due out on November 19, just one week away. So, if you have a game boy advanced don’t forget this date.
Also, a few movies have been released of Jazz Jackrabbit, check out IGN and Invisible Dream for all of the movies. The movies are really interesting, especially the one that contains what looks like the castle tileset, but also the damn tileset as well. I guess I need to get myself a gameboy soon. :)
Update:
Take a look over here at EB Games for what the actual package should look like. Remember it ships tomorrow so get it soon! :)
The dudes from GameTitan reported that the publisher Jaleco is going to be the publisher of Jazz Jackrabbit GameBoy Advance. Their website is now showing a promotion for JJGBA to the main public. There isn’t much information on the page yet, but it’s fun to see an offical link agian. Because “We” the Jazz community, haven’t seen one since 1998!
If you go here, you will be directed to the publisher’s promotion for JJGBA.
