Hello everyone,
I uploaded a few video’s showcasing my work-in-progress Opensource rewrite of Jazz Jackrabbit 2.
The vids show a few levels being rendered at 1920×1080, while mantaining a high framerate.

This is not the final version, which will use a more optimized OpenGL renderer written by me. Also, things like animated tiles will be displayed correctly.
This is NOT the final version which will of course be more like JJ2 and less like a plain levelviewer.
Thanks for watching

It looks good in that the layers clearly move at different speeds, but the combination of the indirect recording and the fairly simplistic levels make it difficult to tell how accurate everything is. Could we get a 640×480 screenshot of something like Carrot1 with the foreground carrots and background scenery to make sure all the speeds/positions match up right? Also, are you reading .j2t data3 for tile transparency (right) or just inferring it from data2 (wrong)?
