Don’t mind the corny name, BattleOut was first created 3 years ago, I was really young then. Sorry that it’s a TSF file, I saved it to TSF by accident a while ago. Anyway, this is the 6th and final BattleOut level. Enjoy!
Very good lvl. It’s got nice eyecandy and weapons placement. The gameplay is quite good too although the lvl has got way too many deadends. I give BattleOut 6 a 7.5.
And I’ll write a longer review later…
Just to let you know, the few “deadends” on the level contains ammo or something of use to fill it up, so that isn’t really considered a deadend.
A nice battle level by MR Magoo. It makes good use of the labrat tileset. Tileset use sorta reminds me of Shadow’s Slab Ratz level, which is certainly a good thing. Flow is also pretty good. The music is somewhat anoying if you hear it for the first time, but it fits very good in the level. Weapens and powerups are well devided across the entire level. I can’t really find any major bugs in here, so this is a fairly short review, as you can see. Download recomendation from me.
Small nice level, some places are a bit crappy but no matter I really cant rate it lower then 8, anyway lets go on with the review. Eyecandy is very good, all usefull tiles are used out the tileset. Ammo placement is quite good too, youve used mix’s of ammo which I actually like much. And maybe too much Power Ups, like I said the level is small and kind of crappy so you really dont need much power ups for it. Anyway together its a very nice battle level. Download recommendation from me and a 8. Well Done.
Very nice, Magoo. Extremely good for a non-custom tileset level. Download recommendation.
Pretty good. Not the best, but not the worst. 8.5
