Devan Shell is back! This time he tries to destroy the Carrotus Forest so that he can build a dungeon for Eva, once he has kidnapped her again! But before the forest can be destroyed, he need a plan. Actually, he doesn’t have one plan, he has four.
Devan have builded a total of four zones. Each zone can destroy the whole forest at once.
Your mission: find all the four zones, and defeat the boss.
ZONE A: UNDERGROUND ZONE
The first plan is… build a volcano that can destroy the whole forest. If the volcano is ready for the destruction, Bubba can activate it with his fire-sneezing-weapon.
Find the lava-cave under the volcano and defeat Bubba!
BOSS: BUBBA BOSS
ZONE B: SKY ZONE
The second plan is… go to Mars and collect strong martians. When the rocket is landed on Mars, the Rocket Turtle will search martians on Mars. If the rocket comes back to Carrotus, the turtle will free the martians and they will destroy the forest. Find the rocket before it lands on Mars and beat the Rocket Turtle!
BOSS: ROCKET TURTLE BOSS
ZONE C: ELECTRIC ZONE
The third plan is… a very, very large and dangerous thunderstorm, made with rain of warm water from the Water Machine and lightning from electricity, created by the robot of Devan Shell.
Find the Water Machine and Devan’s robot and destroy it both.
BOSS: ROBOT BOSS
ZONE D: EVIL ZONE
The fourth and final plan is… go with all friends of Devan to the forest and destroy it.
Devan is housed in a world of steel, hidden in a large slimey world.
Find the slimey world, complete the tests of the 3 other worlds, learn the Rico-Chet shooting skill and beat Devan Shell.
BOSS: DEVAN SHELL BOSS
Jazz, Spaz and Lori must find the four zones and ruin the plans of Devan Shell.
And you can help them.

Starting Comments
Finally! A new single player! I’ve been waiting for new downloads, since the J2O download section is practically dead.
Gameplay
After playing the first level (which was rather short), I noticed that you are a newcomer. No offence, it just looked like this would be your first level ever. Straight lines, things copied from other episodes and levels. The gameplay sucked throughout the game. Straight lines and shooting enemies… Sorry, but yawn.
Gameplay = Bad
Placements
No ammo, gems, powerups, and if there are enemies, they’re in straight lines and places you won’t bother watching.
Placement = Very bad
Story
Devan is back, he has come to destroy the world etc… Old story. We need new idea’s.
Story = Old
Balance
Way too easy to be an episode. Sorry, but this just plain sucks.
Balance = Very bad
Eyecandy
Flowers with exactly the same distances between them, moving background, waterfalls made of texture backgrounds… Nothing special.
Eyecandy = Not worth mentioning
Music
I personally like the music from the first level, but it doesn’t fit the level. Most levels didn’t have music (Or music included in the pack).
Music = Bad
Originality
Well, he DID have a trigger puzzle… =\ Also, there was this wide open space in which you needed to find the single-tile-wide exit…
Originality = Could be better
Score
I really don’t think you deserve any score higher than a 2. Just because I am nice, I’ll leave the rating blank. Use it wisely…
Score = N/A
Bonusses/substractions
Nothing worth mentioning (Although I like fact that you used Fawriel (Formerly known as Piccolo) his old tilesets.)
Added Score = N/A
Download Recommendation
No.
Further comment
If you want to make good episodes, think of a good idea. As for eyecandy and level layout, check the best downloads… =P
If you have completed this episode, don’t forget to rate it, OK?
Ischa
My old review is gone(Does anyone by chance have a copy of it?)
But the final score was 1.6, with a D/L reccomendation of no.
[Answer: No copy exists anymore in our database. I guess the file was deleted without taking care of saving reviews (something which I should probably automatically implement in code to prevent future losses). I’m sorry. – FQuist]
I won’t rate this but I will point out a few things:
Some of the levels made you dizzy or sick. After I played the asteroid level I had the contant view of stars whizzing across my eyes. And the levels where you have to climb up many platforms whilst there is a moving backround made me feel dizzy as well.
EDIT: Please in future make levels where you can find the exit.
You made a good job. This is a good episode. Levels are fantastic. I liked all the levels. Nice job.
[Unsupported rating (10.0) removal. Aside from being very short and overly general, this review strongly goes against the other comments provided here, without justifying why. -EvilMike]
OK, I’ll change my rating.
I’ll give a 7.7 to this episode because retrying to play it i’ve realised that there are no pickups and no ammo. Ischa likes hard levels, and even I like hard levels, but this is a TURBO level. Anyway, there are no other matters, if I can call these lacks so.
Download recommended.
[Inappropiate rating (7.7) removal. Can you please give some reasons why this level is as good as you say it is? When you review, please make it clear that you actually played the level and can argue why it’s good or bad. – FQuist]
