Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 knew two Christmas versions as add-ons:

• Holiday Hare '98 (as known as Xmas’98), with the 1.23x version number;
• Christmas Chronicles '99 (or The Christmas Chronicles), with the 1.24x version number.

Holiday Hare ’98 is known as a demo, because it displays a link to an order info at the main menu and doesn’t have a JCS.
Christmas Chronicles ’99 is a complete version, but doesn’t allow players to try certain game types.

These two versions contain five specific levels:

• 3 single player levels:
  • Snow Bunnies (Xmas1.j2l),
  • Dashing thru the snow.. (Xmas2.j2l),
  • Tinsel Town (Xmas3.j2l);
• 2 battle levels:
  • Festive Feud (Xmbattle1.j2l),
  • Chrimbo Combat (Xmbattle2.j2l).

Enemies were added to the game especially for these versions. They look and behave exactly like enemies existing in the original game, but are decorated with fairy lights.

These enemies are:

• the Xmas Bilsy Boss,
• the Xmas Floating Lizard,
• the Xmas Lizard,
• the Xmas Norm Turtle.
