Fireball
The Fireball is the 8th weapon in the OEM versions of Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

Effect
Instead of firing small bullets, it fires a high damage, slow moving fireball. This ball can destroy any bad guy in one hit. It can also go threw multiple enemies. This could explain why it’s so scarce in the campaign. When powered up, the fireball becomes purple and a lot faster, making it easier to hit people with.
It was probably removed due to how powerful it is. When powered up, the SchwartzenGuard can go down in 6 hits. It could have also been made a problem in multiplayer.
In later versions
In the later versions of the game, the Fireball was replaced by the Pepper Spray. The Fireball is restored by JJ2+, which gives players the option of choosing between pepper spray and the fireball gun.
