Wallclimb is a special move which can be used in Jazz Jackrabbit 2, presuming on a “small bug”.
One may abuse the JJ2 collision detection to climb through walls, with the aid of another player. This is done by stomping and double jumping immediately afterwards, while just below a ceiling tile. If two or more players get “stuck” in the same area, they will be carried upwards. It does not work in CTF mode if the players are on the same team.
With JJ2+, you can disable wallclimb by typing the command /wc off
or disabling it in Plus.ini.
Wallclimb is often used in tests: players go in a wall above them, which contains warps.
But some levels have been created exclusively for wallclimb: players had to be two and climb in the walls. It was a teamwork.
It was not very successful, because those levels were usually very long, so sometimes one rabbit left the game before it was ended, and rare were them who accessed the end…
It is also important to choose the right wall, and to have luck not to be stuck between two walls!
