Cliff Bleszinski was the co-producer of the game. As the co-producer, he helped Robert Allen keep things running smoothly. He also designed nearly all of the levels in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and contributed greatly to the overall design and direction of the game.
Most of the level design in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was done by Cliff. While working with tilesets and designing levels, Cliff was responsible for a few things.
"Well the tile sets basically give you a theme and so you know by the tile set you're using what restrictions you limited to. For instance if you use Colonius then you can't put in swinging vines etc... I had a few ideas or puzzles that I want to put into the level and the "fillers" or the segments of the level between each puzzle or scenario I came up with in my head and put into JCS straight away."
"I think about what's fun for the level. I tend to play test my levels every 5-10 minutes so I know what I've put in plays well and fits the level. Plus play testing what you've just put in sometimes gives you ideas about how to make it better or what to do next. Basically I find the best way to test an idea to put into the level."
