Guilty Gene

Guilty Gene is a fan-created webcomic which tells the story of Jazz Jackrabbit‘s evil clone, called by the name DarkJazz in the comic, whom Jazz fights in the final level of Jazz Jackrabbit 1. It is created by DoubleGJ (JSZ Jazz) and currently chapter 1 is in development.

The comic’s goal is to fill in the missing part of game’s story by focusing on DarkJazz, and to claim it, it keeps as true to the official facts as possible, but on the other side, it takes the series’ universe much more seriously than the game itself. It should be noted that while Guilty Gene is not a canon, a part of the community is already using the name DarkJazz as a standard for the clone boss. The last available page of the comic as of now is an entrance to a story about planet Crysilis, which appearently will be a preludium to its description found in the Jazz Jackrabbit 1 manual. It is still placed only on DoubleGJ’s DeviantART account though.
